Paul R. Oppegard

Paul has extensive experience in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, and civil litigation.  He has been Board Certified as Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1992.

Paul is a longtime resident of the Fargo/Moorhead area.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Concordia College of Moorhead, Minnesota.  He has been selected by his peers as a leading attorney in the area of personal injury in Minnesota.

Paul brings a unique perspective to the areas of personal injury and wrongful death as in addition to representing injured parties,  he also has handled these types of matters from a defense perspective for large corporations and insurance companies.  He knows how these claims are evaluated and resolved internally by insurance companies and large corporations and has been able to put this knowledge and experience to use in resolving and trying personal injury and wrongful death cases to obtain the best results.

When Paul is not practicing law he enjoys spending time with his family, friends, hunting, fishing, playing tennis, and shooting clay targets.  Paul is a master class sporting clays clay target shooter and has participated at many local, state, national, and several world tournaments in this hobby.
