Shareholder Elizabeth Sorenson Brotten will present at the 2017 DRI Asbestos Medicine Seminar in Las Vegas November 2-3, 2017. Brotten will be part of a panel session entitled “Take Home 101,” along with attorneys Rick Bran of Collins Einhorn Farrell PC in Southfield, Michigan and Christine D. Calareso of Selman Breitman LLP in Santa Ana, California and Dana Hollins, MPH, CIH of Cardno ChemRisk in California. The panel will address the evolution of scientific knowledge regarding take-home exposures to asbestos, review the latest court decisions addressing whether a duty is owed for take-home exposures, and highlight strategies for taking depositions in take-home cases.
