Laurie Hayes has been a paralegal with Lind, Jensen, Sullivan & Peterson, P.A. since December 2006. She is a 1979 cum laude graduate of Drake University School of Journalism with a degree in mass communications law and ethics. She attended the University of San Diego Law School's paralegal program and upon completion of her studies, she worked briefly for a Des Moines law firm before accepting a position with a Minneapolis firm. After developing expertise in management of complex litigation, Laurie departed after 10 years to form her own consulting business. Her clients included some of the Twin Cities largest firms together with Novartis Nutrition and Allina Health Risk Management. She developed expertise in computer-assisted case management for the defense of medical malpractice suits and complex "mass tort" litigation. After 16 years, Laurie closed her consulting practice and joined LJSP where she continues to work on paper-intensive complex litigation and assists Ted Sullivan.
